Ingredients
- Water
- Galangal
- Bergamot Leaves
- Lemongrass
- Fresh Chili (optional)
- Fish Sauce
- Chicken
- Mushroom
- Sugar
- Cilantro
- Lime Juice
Substitute Ingredient(s)
- You can use milk or cream instead of Coconut Milk.
Preparation
- Add 3-5 Galangal slices and 5-10 pieces of chopped Lemongrass to a pot.
- Take 5 Bergamot leaves and tear each leaf to four pieces. Then add it to the pot.
- (optional) Slice fresh Chili or crack it, then add it to the pot. The amount of Chili used depends on your spicy preference.
- Add 500ml. of water to the pot, and start boiling.
- When the water is boiled add half cup of Chicken sliced in pieces. Then keep boiling.
- When the soup has reached the boiling point again, add 1/3 cup of Mushroom slices.
- Season it with sugar and Fish Sauce.
- Add 1/2 cup of Coconut milks. (Amount of Coconut Milk is adjustable, depending on your preference.) Stir and mix it thoroughly.
- Wait until it boiled again. Then add chopped Cilantro, and turn off stove.
- Finally season the soup with Lime Juice.
